At Blackburn Museum the work is presented as a deconstructed book, through image, text and moving image in English and Urdu.

The research draws on Cynthia Johnstone’s work on the museum’s Hart Collection and her curatorial work with Anthea Purkis on The Nature of Gothic, and in particular on William Morris’s Tregaskis Bindings. The exhibition was developed alongside the 150th anniversaries of both Blackburn Museum and the National College of Arts, Lahore.

A third iteration will follow with the Institute of English Studies, where Holman will produce a new artist’s edition responding to Revolution — marking the anniversary of the Caxton press, and reflecting on how technological change and access to the means of production shape culture and national identity.
